Captain Vinnie is a licensed U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain, CPR/first aid certified, and a true Florida native, born and raised in St. Petersburg. With a lifetime of exploring these waters, he knows the local waterways and hidden gems like no one else.

Vinnie’s passion for The Gulf includes everything from boating to advanced open water diving, free diving, and his past as a commercial fisherman supplying fresh catches to local restaurants. He loves sharing the beauty of The Gulf, whether it’s interacting with dolphins, snorkeling through vibrant marine life, or sharing all the fun sea facts and local knowledge he’s picked up over the years.
